Spy in the Huddle

Ever wondered what the penguin parade looks like from a penguin’s perspective? John Downer Productions, the team that created the renowned BBC program Spy in the Huddle, as they come to Edinburgh Zoo to film the penguins! A full-sized rockhopper cam and egg cams will be deployed into Penguins Rock and the live footage will be streamed into the onsite penguin hut, allowing visitors to get a penguin-eye-view of the Zoo. This event is free with zoo admission.

Hoofstock Walkabout

Time: 7:30pm – 9pm
Hoofstock keepers will take you on a guided evening tour of the various hoofstock animals around the park. You will be introduced to many of the animals in their care as well as finding out about all the latest goings on within the section. Please note: this is a walking tour and the Zoo is built on a hill with some steep inclines. The walkabout tour will begin at the Zoo’s Education Centre. Tickets cost £5 for members and £7 for non-members; to book please call 0131 314 0379.

Edinburgh Zoo Nights is an afterhours event for adults only. Get your paws on a drink and see how the animals spend their Friday nights. Come to Scotland’s newest and wildest event and experience the array of entertainment on offer – silent disco, champagne bar, cocktail tea party, comedy, animal handling, facepainting, bars, street performers, music, sushi, sky trail, tapas, night safari, picnics, Pimm’s bar, BBQ and more…
The event starts at 6pm and will end at 10pm.
Tickets are £20 for adults and £17 for RZSS members.
