Our vast underwater world is home to one of the largest collections of sand tiger sharks in Europe, stingrays, conger eels, plus thousands of other weird and wonderful creatures.
With our spectacular cafe, and outstanding souvenir shop there is plenty to see and do, including watching the divers hand feed the sharks, making Deep Sea World a memorable day out for all the family. |

September 26th - 27th: Finding Nemo Weekend
Can you find the real life 'Nemo' and his fishy friends? All the animated characters from the blockbuster movie were based on living creatures.Visit Deep Sea World and follow the 'Nemo' trail to see which familiar faces you meet for real during your journey around the aquarium.
October 10th - 18th: European Shark Week
Come along and show your support for European Shark Week and sign the petition to stop shark finning. More details coming soon.
October 30th - 31th: Wear it Pink!
Deep Sea World is turning pink for two days in support of Breast Cancer Campaign. There will be pink face painting and special pink divers in our main tank. Visitors dressed in a full pink outfit will gain free entry in exhange for a donation to the charity. Come and show your support!
October 31th - 1st November: Halloween Weekend
Come to Deep Sea World this Halloween for an under water scare adventure. For details coming soon.
SHARK DIVING
If jumping into shark-infested waters is your idea of fun, then you'll be glad to hear that we're the only aquarium in Scotland to offer you this experience. No qualifications or experience are required, so it's open to just about everyone. Full training is given on the day and all necessary equipment is provided. Please call in advance as pre-booking is essential. |
