Embark upon a voyage of discovery at Scotland’s National Aquarium, where pupils will find themselves immersed in a watery world with the world’s most beautiful, bizarre and dangerous creatures as they wind their way through the longest underwater viewing tunnel in the world.
Our education team have produced a range of exciting, interactive, multi-sensory hands on sessions, linked to the Scottish National Curriculum. It is also possible to tailor activities to meet individual group requirements. Choose from either an independent self-guided visit, where you can enjoy the aquarium at your own pace using our free teachers help sheets or a classroom visit, covering key areas from coastal areas to tropical rainforests.
Alternatively, bring Deep Sea World to your school with our Outreach programme, an action-packed roadshow using live animals and interactive resources to ‘edutain’ schoolchildren about the underwater world. Outreach is available either as a half day or full day package so the whole school can get involved.
