36” Telescope Dome
Demonstration and talk on one of
Scotland’s biggest telescopes, revolving Dome, and Astronomer’s Chair (chance for 2 or 3 children to ride in the Astronomer’s chair)

Explore space on the latest cd-roms(Freetime for fun whilst learning)

Solar Observing Weather permitting, daytime observing of sun from our rooftop with solar telescope is possible (in Summer)

Journey to the Stars
A visual guide through the solar system and beyond

Discovery Zone
Play with hands-on exhibits, light lenses and prisms in this area which introduces the importance of light in Astronomy.
